My child is at Bolts this year and I agree with you completely. We will not be returning at that price.

I just printed out all of the Bolts DA rosters. I can't wait to compare them to next season. I expect they'll look nothing like they currently do.

I plan to do the same thing with the Revs.

Maybe I'll document the transfers back and forth, between pay to play and pray to play.

Anybody training MLS DA soccer to get into a great college is too stoopid to go there.

How do you think they'll do in college if they're getting there by their feet?

HS soccer would be better for creating soccer professionals! Great Idea. Not.

Professional lawyers are made by studying law. Soccer is a hobby Gans. Play HS soccer and become a lawyer, dr, engineer. MLS DA should focus on training pros and providing the support structure, and be mandatory full time by 16.

What a mess. Kids looking to get away from the Revs because of the poor development turn to the Bolts to find astronomic prices. Tough to go from free to $4000+ to play in the same league. Bolts players finding the price increase too much will end up heading over to the Revs, but will soon realize they made a huge mistake when they are only practicing 3x per week (if that) and development slows to a halt. Maybe NEFC (at the younger ages) and Seacoast benefit from all of this, maybe ISL?

You are correct. It is not $4000. It is just south of $4300. U12 and U13 Academy for next year.

I thought club prices were high in MA, but check out the CT thread on club prices. Maybe this is where the Bolts came up with their pricing for next year?

The Revs academy may be below par, but 90% MLS DA are right alongside.
Only Academies producing results are residential or trained by their family (unattached) . Look at the NT callups for U19. LAG, Philadelphia U, Atlanta, Seattle.
