They don't collect money or have anything to do with what Valeo is selling. From what I gather they are separate and live away from the VIA. The boys don't do school with VIA. My kid rarely saw them when we went over. The parents are C-suite, you dope.

It's a mutual interest thing they have going. Valeo wanted to expand into Europe and the dad probably wanted his kids to train in Portugal someday. They may work together on some things but the kids living at VIA are there as Valeo players. The others, from several families, are registered under FIFA with Portuguese teams.
