The Revs (and several chest thumping clubs) still don't get futsal and it's development abilities. They think it's like playing basketball or tennis so don't worry about the effects either bad training has (which is what they dole out) or the benefits to kids pursuing contrary to direction such as with the black knights and the Brazilian squad. A 10 month season should mean 10 months of training. As of now it's 9 months with 3 day/week practices (4.5 hrs/week = 180hrs / year).

Forces determined players to look elsewhere for additional training. Maybe that's a good thing for those players.

Black Knights is Brazilian? Montanaro is an Italian guy from Toronto.

Except for the 03 playing with Bolts (***???), it seems that the U13's were doinked. I know some parents asked RR for permission to play futsal.

I agree - that is ridiculous. Definitely Revs players in that picture. Someone should screen shot it if you need to. No dog in this fight but it doesn't seem right. EIther all Revs players should do what they want in the winter for extra training or none should.

Have not seen this team play but my guess is that their entire team is the kid to the right of the Revs GK. That kid is a beast of a player but his dad is a lunatic.
