HS players coming in mid year never goes over well. The Revs were supposed to go no-waiver but obviously they realized that won't work. That's a move reserved for struggling pay-to-play clubs

Strangest concept this “waiver/no waiver” situation. For all Academy play it needs to be either yes or no with waivers. What’s the problem? My kid goes to a solid high school but it is public. So, no waivers supposedfxly... that’s only for private school kids or so I’m told. Or, maybe he’s not good enough. Skipped academy for that reason (although other contributing factors certainly distance to facilities for us, son has other interests, very academic and unsure if Academy would fit that with travel to practices, etc) All in all... very strange concept with soccer in this regard. His lax friends don’t seem to have this same problem. Too bad really.
