Revs should have lost that match statistically. Great save by the Revs keeper from the penalty shot, but that was just luck. Then good luck on the rebound which should have been an easy finish and was shanked. Then a goal due to a deflection on a free kick in the last minute of extra time.

Bottom line, 2 CB's get red carded in away game and Revs lose... same thing happened in Atlanta to Heaps and he lost his job. Nothing has changed. Revs have a good record at home, but looked very shaky in their home opener and should have lost, but got very lucky on multiple occassions. For the record, I'm a Revs fan as it's the local team, but even I see issues with the first team play.

Most of the negative losers on this thread are '02 '03 legacy Valeo/NEFC. There is another thread re: crazy parents. Those age groups, those parents, absolutely take the cake.

They used to be bundled together in one U12/U13 bombogenesis of craziness.

Right, this is not about that ridiculous, delusional family in Newton who don't see their kids' abilities for what they really are. In other words, they suck. They sucked here in Massachusetts, can you imagine in a soccer playing country like Portugal? It's about our MLS "academy" system in our own backyard whose "leadership" don't have the faintest clue in what they are doing.

I'm not sure I follow you. They sucked yet contributed to winning teams in MA for years?

Yes I can imagine them playing in Europe. I see videos all the time posted on Instagram and FB! They are really good!
