There are hundreds of thousands of "European-trained" players that are not as good as American players. American players going to train in Europe are still American. Having an EU passport doesn't make you a better player. Hopefully these poor kids will move back and get a decent education in America or they'll never get into a top college.

Yet European "rejects" land college spots here in the US over American trained ones. Of course having a passport and an accent doesn't guarantee you're a better player, but it does improve the odds greatly. Take two kids of similar skill and work ethic, train one here and another abroad. Guess who comes out the better player at age 18?
