BUT, doesn't the U14 team have a solid backline? Why on earth would they have the smallest kid in the U14 age group (in the world) play defense at a showcase for an older age group? I applaud his accomplishments this year but this is ludicrous.

lol vs the parents who pull their kids for a week to go to Disney or skiing? Kids are checked out this time of yea anyway, so are the teachers. If my kid were that good and had a life-time opportunity like that I'd have no hesitation pulling him, even if it flamed out and went nowhere.
