NEP will be a qualifying league for Boys ENCL but FC Stars and FC Boston Bolts are the only clubs with official Boys ENCL teams. Tryouts in June for both. Former Revs players (even cuts), I imagine will be welcomed with open arms at either club. The league will be the NEP, so GPS, NEFC, AZTEC etc....will all be playing one another. Pick the top team and players and have fun. There's also Bolts and Seacoast for DAP squads but the for the recent ISL recruits, that can be an issue. BTW, has anyone noticed that the ISL prep schools have aggressively recruited soccer players this past winter?Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

The Prep schools are being very generous with money. They claim they don't award "merit" scholarships but they have many loopholes at their disposal. If you're a top flight athlete with decent grades, they will stop at nothing to grab you. I know personally of three ISL schools that have resorted to bidding wars with soccer players this winter (Revs players included). The preps have become a legitimate pathway to the pros. Sign of a good economy. The majority of "elites" paying full freight so the residual effect is that plenty is left over for recruited athletes. That's not to say they're dumb jocks either.
