Sounds like he's an outstanding player and others are jealous of that. Played 16 games already last season and 25 last year. Does seem to indicate he's on their radar.

Oh, I get it. He's a favorite so he can get away with anything he wants, like the NT player. Chosen. Seems pretty unfair if you believe training and games (with preferential treatment thrown in) make the player.

Does anyone know how many professional soccer players the Revs have turned out, other than their three Home grown talents, since the inception of DAP? Supposedly there are 100's Daps that have made it to the MLS.

100's is an overstatement. DA had a press release last year saying 150-ish players had gone professional either here or abroad (and almost none at a high level overseas). That's in ten years. An average of 15 per year. Call me underwhelmed.

I have zero connection to revs but they have one chance at a top flight player and each year they continue to decrease his (and their) chances. KV. A real natural player will skills out the wahzoo. But the revs have done their best (I'm certain not intentional, they just don't know better) to limit his growth with their grotesque, formulaic play.

Dunno KV but they do need to invest in a new team coach. Promote Heaps and get someone with some international professional experience. With the new Ruskie Bromance, the conf cup, and world cup in Russia and Krafts ties to all this, he has an opportunity to make big $ off soccer now.

I wrote the complimentary post about KV. Again, zero connection to Revs or KV. Son played against him for years at Bayside and I attend academy games when possible. Most gifted player in the area but Revs have put shackles on him since they got him. Shame and a waste.
I am truly just a fan of the game but not of the Revs. Just trying to have a soccer conversation. Also Great that Bruce Arena called up Juan Agudelo. Hopefully Arena realizes what the Revs haven't (indicated by the Revs trading for Kamara). That Agudelo is the most talented all around striker we have and should be playing up top alone.

What do people think that the Revs actually do to develop players? Think about it- do you think your kid will improve at the Revs? Or just get noticed by scouts? In three years, will he be a better player?
