In Boston/New England of all places!! Get the F out of soccer you bums!!
Granted, Boston is a tough sports market because you've got four incredible franchises (Sox, Pats, Celts, Bruins) with very loyal life long fans. That said, I agree the Krafts have don nothing to build interest or fan base. As long as the team turns a small profit and isn't a management headache they'll just let it ride until they get a nice offer on it. Helps that they can use the stadium when it would otherwise be idle. That lack of interest trickles down into the Revs management and, I contend, pro squad as well. They certainly aren't going to spend a penny more on developing youth talent when they get no benefit from it - and that they've had no success at either to try and motivate them to do more. Put nothing in and you get nothing out.

Not a chance. Training will continue in that piece of sh*t outdated fieldhouse. One strong gust of wind and all our kids die instantly!
In the winter all it takes is one good fall of snow from the roof as you walk in. Seen my life flash before my eyes nearly escaping an avalanche.

Maybe they should get a few St Bernards for rescue efforts. Nah, that would cost money....

They will get the St Bernards, but rest assured, they'll be trained and developed elsewhere.

The Revs Academy coaches are like the walking dead. Without fail at every practice, they go through the most minimal of effort, grab their gear and step into their crappy cars to head back to Rhode Island. They talk to no one, not the parents, players or one another. No enthusiasm, no passion. Lifeless zombies. Just a bizarre environment that's sucking the passion our kids have had for this game for so long. The kids have never met the first team at all, they don't look happy and are quickly losing interest. I hear their out of State trips are like concentration camps, they are relegated to their rooms for hours on end while other teams are encouraged to watch other teams compete. If I were to grade these nitwits, it'd be a an F.

And their development will flat line once they join the organization. Food and vet care will be the bare minimum necessary to sustain life.

It's ok. We understand why you might not listen to anonymous posters. But all you had to do was watch some games and you would have seen for yourself. Or ask around. their reputation is well known.

liar. what's your agenda? what do you have against the revs? my kid has been there for three years and he is happy - with the coaches and his development. you are obviously not a revs parent.

Same. Most players and parents who have been with Revs for a while are happy. Those who aren't either leave on their own volition are shown the door. Why anyone stay if they are that unhappy?
