Clearly you don't understand the structure.
Ah, so you're saying Pulisic was on a full ride merit scholarship in the non-existent U6-U11 DA, and that his U12 DA team was free, etc. You're talking out of your a** and yet it's me that doesn't understand the structure. Gotcha.

Most of his development did belong to him and his family (both players themselves), along with multiple training opportunities in Europe before he signed. His example is far from typical for DA. He may be one of the best players to come out of the US for awhile, but again not a typical path available to many players AND he's struggling a bit abroad. He should be fine but he's not going to dominate European soccer

Idiot, only MLS clubs are free to play and even D.C. charges. ALL OTHER CLUBS charge something. They're supposed to try and bring down fees as much as they can, but at many non MLS clubs the fees are quite high + families are on the hook for all the travel. Outside of MLS clubs youth soccer is all pay to play

It's not a scholarship dumb a**. All the kids on the team don't pay. You clearly don't have a kid in the DA system. What do you think all those Revs Camps and Revs "Special Invite" training sessions pay for? It's subsidized.

          Take several seats.

SUBSIDIZED by the other kids - you just said it yourself. So it's an INVESTMENT by the club. And there are clubs in NE with "free" DA teams. Clearly you aren't part of one.

"SUBSIDIZED by the other kids" and "it's an INVESTMENT by the club" are opposite statements.

Why the sad face? It’s time these boys had some success.

Not so much. Losing record. It’s a train wreck.

How is any of this acceptable to players, parents, coaches and management?

The current combined stats of the U15 & U17 teams at the GA Cup Qualifier are:

                              0-4-0

                              2 goals for / 11 goals against

The current combined stats of the U15 & U17 teams in the USSDA fall season are:

                              3-7-2

                              18 goals for / 21 goals against

That means both teams are a combined 3-11-2 with 20 goals for and 32 goals against in the last month and a half.

The U15 team isn’t as dysfunctional as the U17 but that doesn’t mean they don’t have major systemic issues that need urgent attention.

Fire coaches. Fire scouts. Cut players. Sign other players. We’re headed for the division 3 basement of the GA Cup and there’s no way we qualify for the Winter Cup. We could potentially be relegated from the MLS division of the USSDA. This shouldn’t be happening.

                              Fix this!
