What do you considered way too early? Bolts offer a U12 team and not all of them made their U13 roster the following year. Is that too early? Is the u14 Bolts roster the same roster from last year's u13?

Bolts, REVS, AAU hoops, hockey, whatever the sport owes your kid a opportunity to compete for minutes. That's it. Do coaches play favorites, yes. Hence why tons of college transfers each year. Have your kid, earn his minutes on the practice pitch, keep his mouth shut and out work everyone. Otherwise, be prepared to call his college professor about why your son didn't get a A plus on that English Lit paper.

Bolts lost their Norwood indoor, so not much of an opportunity. Rest assured the cc auto-charges will go through though.

That would be an excellent idea if the Revs were merit-based but they ain’t. The coaches play favorites from minute one and can’t see past their own stupid decisions game after game. And lo and behold good players are cut. The insanity is mind boggling. And they do it over and over, every damn season.

Now I know why Revs management is so bad. They're on here defending themselves 24/7 instead of trying to make the organization better.

Again, you make it sound like the Revs does anything different than other MLS or Professional clubs who run youth academies. They are looking for the 1 in a million player who has the physical gifts and mental attitude to succeed in a professional setting. Read No Hunger in Paradise if you want to know the meat grinder the rest of the world's youth go through.

The real reason the Revs underperform is that their players come from towns like Newton, Lexington, Easton, Foxborough and Bedford, NH.

They make male young bodies the same way in those towns that they do in other towns. Their genetic variation is the same.

True. Kids from those towns are generally entitled and soft though. The Revs lead the league in entitled and soft.

Newtons are the worst, entitled mommas boys.

How bout some names on your envious accusation?

Noone gets cut mid-season. If they're good, they don't get cut in the summer either.

It's a full year commit. list the names and not the lies back a few pages of kids who QUIT the revs. (Or the rejects in the summer)

Not a coach, nor do I have any "skin in the game". Not yet anyways. And not defending REVS, just pointing out the hypocrisy of all the REVS HATERS. Some posts indicate REVS give up on players early. I asked when was too early. Gave example how another local club has added to or subtracted from their roster.

What you are missing is that slimy Scales and the nutless wonders kill the boys’ love if the game. The rest is details. Glad my kid is out of that sh*t show.

Pay to play clubs rarely cut mid season. Yes a player may leave on their own but it's rarely initiated by the club. The Revs actually CUT mid season, this after claiming they commit to kids for the year and USSF considers them USSF players for the year. replacement players they bring in are rarely better than those cut
