They churn through players (some opt out for private school), their college placements are only ok at best (should be much stronger for an MLS club) and have virtually no home grown success. The coaching blows and the organization is notoriously cheap. If they weren't MLS they'd probably be even lower than the Bolts. Families wouldn't put up with it if it weren't for being free.
The scouting network being expanded should improve the depth and help with the decline in the teams quality as they get older. We will see..
