Saw U16 game. WHAT IS SEACOAST DOING WITH AN ACADEMY PROGRAM!!! ...yet Revs only beat them 3-1. Is any technical training done in academy soccer? These kids are dreadful (relatively speaking to elite soccer in othr countries)

The real question is what are the Revolution doing with a team in the MLS? I should get paid for just suffering thru watching them lose again. Jay Heaps and their entire scouting crew are a lost cause.

4-1 Revs win and it could've been much more. 2 crossbars + 2 posts. Last time these two U16 sides met, it was an 8-1 rout. Nice to see the 2002's playing very well on the Revs' older squad. Not many Academy clubs play their kids up in age group.

it was 5-1 last time. This game was tied 1-1 at the half. Seacoast has several quality players but does not have the depth that the Revs have. All it takes is two or three players in a team playing poorly for disaster to happen. Revs had many more chances because few players in Seacoast just couldn't defend or connect simple passes

5-1 not 8-1 . one crossbar zero posts. What game were you watching?! But revs clearly dominated. Seacoast Defense was god awful.

What happened with the U14 game? U13's playing up to cover for U14's playing up?

2 U13's played up for the 14's. The U14's are struggling a bit. Shows the depth the U13's have!!

Only saw end of U14 game. One U13 at center back. Not the best spot for a small skinny kid. Did the U13's start?
RR still struggling to know his players.

Been discussed over and over again. When you have an owner that doesn't care about the MLS franchise - the one that might actually make him some money - what are the odds he wants to put any effort into a youth program that costs him money? Zero. Zippo. Nada.

Noteworthy for the first team's opponent yesterday--FC Dallas, the MLS club with arguably the best academy--was 1999 PP (17 years old) starting as center midfielder.

Check the website, it tells you who started and how many minutes they played.

Seacoast had one, and only one, kid who could play on the field yesterday (who probably will end up on the Revs soon enough). It's essentially a free academy from northern ma., new Hampshire and maine. And they still produce the equivalent of a practice squad. What a waste.

Their coaching is garbage. The 14's are good because they came into the organization well trained. Their parents had better beware or they also will be trained down to mediocrity (or leave for the Revs).

yes and he's your kid! you are a dumb*****

Seacoast U16s beat Empire United the team that beat the Revs u16. This was the first game of the season with several new (some waiver) players back so just chill. sheesh. Some of you parents make me want to puke in my mouth.
