Well, BA's son went DI, so the clowns will keep pulling the strings for their kids all the way till college.

            And FC Bolts are liars:

"FC Boston is committed to a supportive physical, mental and emotional environment, incorporating the values of character, good citizenship and respect for all its participants." (Mission and vision)

They should add that nepotism and favoritism are their top priorities.

Plenty go to D1 without scholarships or with no more than you can get with merit or need based aid at D3. Patriot League schools, UMASS, UNH, Ivy, etc, have very little to offer financially. Scorers and goal keepers get the money typically. If you have been through the process and the "offers" you would know. Try splitting 2 scholarships between 30 players.

                This isn't basketball or football.

Don't these clubs want to WIN?

Would FCB really make a habit of playing inferior players, and allowing the teams to lose, in order to "favor" certain players? Doesn't seem plausible...

Actually the U18 has been losing consistently. Things will get better when all of the mediocre players are gone. BA's son and Revere kids leaving this year, CP's son and SG's son next year. The problem will continue if the club is used as a ticket for college placement and not as a serious academy team.

All I can say is Amen!!!!! Bolts is run by a bunch of morons. I know every last person you mentioned here and other than the Revere kids that left last year none of the nepotism kids deserve all the attention they're connections are affording them. If they're so good how come with all the times their dad's got them into national training centers they still haven't advanced to national teams? Doubt though that things will change even when they're out. SG has another kid in the academy and who knows who else has a connection.

The Duke-bound player and CP's son are D1 material and have been heavily recruited.
