No-one said the four schools above aren't good soccer schools.

Anyone know where 2016ers from the GPS NPL team are going? Lots of former Revs players.

A National Power consistently makes the NCAA nearly every season and goes multiple rounds in. Teams Like UNC, Akron, Maryland, Louisville, etc. fit that criteria. Of the New England teams listed, only UConn fits that criteria. The others had a good season or two, but otherwise have had mediocre seasons on the National scene. That said, there are plenty of good soccer schools. There are dozens of D1 soccer teams in New England that play an excellent brand of soccer most seasons.

I was trying to be nice. Actually in any given year, perhaps a half dozen NE teams are playing good soccer.

                          Hey it's a real school! http://www.messiah.edu/

There are a lot of school out there many of us have never heard of. If a kid is happy with his/her choice that's all that matters. Trashing kids' choices is one of the many downsides of TS

For the uninformed, Messiah has been the top D3 program on both the mens and womens sides for the past 10-15 years, and by a significant margin. Both sides have won a slew of national titles, often consecutively. Messiah is one of the few D3s that can legitimately claim many of their players "could have played D1." A ke for Messiah of course is that you need to be a pretty evangelical Christian committed to serving the Lord.

Looks like the National Team defender and the BIG forward from SCU BOLTED from NU. Where did they transfer to? Anymore gone? How are the Spring games going?

Stop posting and boasting about d3 schools. The interest in list like this is scholarships. What might be most interesting is the amount of scholarship money these players are getting. None are likely full rides as that is very rare in soccer. but if going d1 without scholarship that would not be good.
