So their website is essentially a bunch of lies.
Long time Bolts player starting at Colby not listed.
The former Club Boss $$$ Colby kid listed

Will not go on the list but worth noting due to the MA clubs and New England D1 teams. The latter just committed and is likely an example of whether you want to be a depth player on a top D1 club or a starter for a D3 team. We'll see how that goes.

Over the past 6 years I've found about 10 MA kids/class play a lot in D1 soccer. Nearly all of those are recruited by the start of their senior HS year. By Jan of your Senior year, most D1 coaches are collecting depth players if at all. For the last three MA HS classes 30-40% of the kids DNP, and by Soph/Junior year about that % had dropped off the roster. As a coach, I personally know some of those players/families. There was a lot of anguish. PC picked up three MA players last year. PT was 0.0 minutes all in. On the other hand another freshman was one of the team stars. And many freshman on PC have started right away in the past few years. Being chosen by PC is a great honor and achievement regardless. But know what you're getting into.

Fortunately, there are many other things to do in college....like concentrate on academics and making connections for internships and future job opportunities. Athletes should attend schools determined to give their best to make a team and, hopefully, play. However, they should pick their school realizing the real possibility that they might be on that particular team by the end of Freshman year for whatever reason. That said, the selection of the school should not be solely based on the sport that you hope to play.
