The players in question were all Bolts. FO was with Bolts when he coached that team. So yes, false advertising.

I'm asking in general because it seems that Harvard does seem partial (the kid who made the Seattle Sounders a few years ago is another example that comes to mind). Not saying it's bad of Harvard to do this but it would be good if kids who are great soccer players with good (but not stellar) grades/scores know this- maybe they can give Harvard a shot?
Jeez - I personally know several hockey players who played at Harvard and who graduated who were as dumb as petrified tree stumps. Harvard is hard to get into but easy to graduate from.

Okaroh is a scumbag but the players listed played for the Blazers. The exception might be Charlie Rugg. If we are talking soccer, you have to give him credit for those accomplishments. I think the Blazers are one of the few teams to have had a team in the semi-finals of every boys group in the same year. I think.

When did FO leave the Bolts to start the Blazers, wasn't it 2008?

I think he left at the end of the spring 2006 season.

I do believe that the players are listed by graduating class. FO's team won a national title while he was a coach with the Bolts. I am pretty sure it was a U15 team. FO was working with some talented boys. When you combine such a group with a coach like FO, you will get a very very positive result.
Whether you like FO or not, he is potentially an excellent coach for your child.
I have no issue with those players being listed on the Blazer website. They were under his tutelage and most (if not all) traveled to the Blazers with him after the next club season.

BUT...at that time they were Bolts and so was he. And many other coaches would have had similar success with that group. At that time, Bolts were the only game in town for top talent. Anyway, minor detail conveniently and deliberately being overlooked. A very distinct pattern with this club.

Actually, the Blazers, under Okaroh, have won all but one state title in a season....

Get off your high horse. This is not a 'distinct pattern' with any club. Furthermore, winning a national title, especially in the pre-DAP era, takes both a great goup of kids and a great coach to put it all together. You may not like Okaroh at all, but at least recognize his ability, or at least potential, to train players to play soccer and his ability to put together great teams.

                      Not better than NEFC though!

No, it is a very distinct pattern with this club, that is why the subject has been raised. They seem to have a difficult time dealing with facts that that don't fit their opinion of themselves. And just to get the record clear, his National Champ team was with the Bolts. Not the Blazers. So their website is essentially a bunch of lies.

He asterisked 'em, that's good enough for me. Real truth in advertising would be to list the years during which kids played with a club, that would help to identify the clubs that worked well with kids when they were young as well as the clubs that are most sucessful at showcasing their players. But ALL the clubs just list any kid who was ever rostered with that club or any of its predecessors (or regional affiliates).

These are the real players from the 2015 class. Everyone else is decent.

Thanks Brian. Although I cannot claim to know you very well, there has been nothing on TS to suggest that your opinion is worth anything at all. In fact, all evidence would suggest the opposite.
Don't take this personally......perhaps professionally instead.

You would think Bryan would know how to spell his own name.
