We got it. You should win easily

Win or lose, you will have an issue.

That is GPS's model, buddy. No evidence of that at Valeo.
Based on the incessant boasting about undefeated seasons by their crazy parents. Now the club feels the need to play their kids up in U13 for "development" when it is clearly a tactic to preserve the fragile egos of the people that pay the bills. Just like their tournament antics they build excuses into their losses to keep the nutty soccer dads at bay.

All that extra organized soccer is what leads to burn out. It's quite well known in the sports medicine field that young athletes are susceptible to repetitive motion injury and potential damage to ligaments and other connective tissue when they keep doing the same things non stop. Give your kids some unstructured downtime!

Or the kids have been playing 8v8 long enough and are ready for the challenge of 11v11. It is the next step in development.

Unless you live in Germany, or Spain, or England, or just about anywhere else that takes soccer development very seriously.

Most have moved to the 9v9 format as a transition bc its offers more flexibility in formations for the eventual 11v11

You've obviously never met anyone from Newton. They know better than those silly Europeans. They know everything.

How does playing up preserve egos? The competition at their own age group was not very high. A few decent games here and there, but why repeat that? NU was criticized for blowing out teams in U11 Green. Valeo too for playing weak teams in U12 white to learn 11 v 11. It's worked out well combining the best players into a new team and it seems most appropriate to play up in the highest division.

Sounds great...when you find a 9v9 league in Mass let us know.

The only thing that will develop in the U13 bracket is impatience with all the losing. It will be a long year.

Yes, we do. Aren't you glad that our club is doing everything incorrectly so that your kid's team will develop better? Or are you a GPS coach? Well, then, aren't you glad that your club's successes will make us look bad and someday you will actually get to coach good teams?

                              No, Ed?

I think some of you started reading the Stars versus NEFC versus everyone threads on the girls side.

You all know nothing is going to be solved this year for U12. V has an A, B, C teams
NEFC had A, B, C teams, WUP has one great team, Aztec and Scorpions have the same. I have no club what GPS/MPS has at any given time.

Everyone will be training soon as a team (V never stopped) so relax
