    the same mix.

Let's see, according to the Valeo parents, the taller boy who was limping noticeably played too much, not enough or about the right amount of time? Maybe the coaches should poll the peanut gallery next time about him and the other boy who had to sit an entire half.

.... And the "sons" should play all game regardless of their performance. Too bad indeed. Thanks for proving my point. By the way their performance is getting worse with every game. Why work hard? They will keep playing anyway......

EW, the main coach, has no kids. The other guy was head of a small club that merged two teams with Valeo over the spring. He has twins on the team. One was injured and played minimally after being out for several weeks. The other was the kid who was not subbed and trying to take on 11 defenders on his own with no supportive offense. Another small kid was doing the same on the wing. Another even smaller kid was taking on the midfield.

The parents were ready to cry mutiny and start coaching ourselves! :)

Hopefully, this weekend will be better. Moving on.....

Congrats to WUP (glad two MA teams won first and second)

You know the parents are posting this stuff just to get a rise out of all of you. They post stuff that is not true because you read it with such vigor. Did you notice their goalie was not out? Some dick was posting that he had a fractured hand a day before the tournament.

Obviously you can't read or interpret English very well.

Overall, bad management of the team this weekend, too many players, no offense (obviously.) I hope it is better next weekend because they will lose again.
                What's next weekend?

(Agree- no kid should play entire 11 v 11 games in a tournament.)

Possession was good by Valeo but the offensive thrust was weak. I don't know which players are which, but there were definitely some players that did not belong on the field. I did wonder about them, but thanks to the open book parents, we all know the deal. Still, all the teams did fine. It was cold and 4 games in 2 days is alot.

Agree with the coaches not either of you. There several boys that can and should play the entire game. But our opinion didn't really matter. :)

Scorpions did very well playing 11 v 11.

Good effort by all in the very cold weather.
What I saw was an unusually defensive WUP team and an unusually offensively inept NEFC team. I thought Valeo was well rounded but was missing scoring punch and FSA was a little intimidated but very solid. NEFC was strong in the midfield and Valeo was strong and fast in the back. FSA is very physical and plays well together. WUP had the most dangerous players but has a couple of holes. Each team was still very good and think they are all about equal.

Is that because I'm not saying how good your son is?

After giving up 5 games in their first game WUP played 9 players back with 1 striker. Not easy for any team to break a team down playing not to give up a goal. Bottom line these teams need to play each other every weekend to develop these players. Winning games in their league play is meaningless.

That poster was saying one of them was still hurting and sat for much of the weekend which you would know if you were there or could read.

At least Valeo's B team won their bracket. Congrats to Valeo.

I think it's OK for one 11 v 11 weekly game, not 4 games in a row. I don't know if this is case here but it would be a foolish practice. Very foolish.
