It doesn't matter. I don't like conspiracy theories but surely some politics in all this. The best way to respond to that is to make it such that it is not even up for discussion next time. Prove it on the field, end the behind the scenes shenanigans.

You should know that in any business there is always going to be "behind the scenes shenanigans". You admitted that it was likely the case yourself. So, its time for everyone that is driving this weekend to move on and simply have your players play the games. If you are complaining about the division your boys are playing in...... such is life!!!

Nope...there is an 11v 11 division for u12 as well. Only listed in Got soccer app for some reason.

You are making too big a deal of this, playing fantasy u12 soccer. It won't even be up for discussion in the spring because of even more proof on the field.

I am not part of the group of parents that has been bitching constantly (with breaks for some sleep) that this tournament is being run unprofessionally, that underhanded things are going on, that they'll have "egg on face" (my favorite post so far), and that my team deserves better. If you really believe that - speak up to somebody who will do something about it - hint, not us.... or feel free to just sit there and take it.

And as for the next poster - yes, the parents on my kid's team tell the coach what they think and what we want to do. It's called communication. It keeps us from ending up in leagues that are 200 miles away and from going back to tournaments that give us crappy schedules or sub-par competition or are just a hassle.

I am paying the club to train my kid and enter the team in leagues/tournaments. They are doing both of those things very well, my kid is quite happy. If they were paying us, then they'd have the right to drag us wherever they wanted without asking us.

And back in the day, my kid's team was #1 in the state at U12 once too... they're not anymore.

Well if you have Valeo, WUP,FSA and from what I heard NEFC too then that is a pretty good start. Unless you know of teams better than those 4 in New England?

AMen! You nailed that club description. We left and are part of a real club where we pay for and receive service, not constant ridicule, obfuscation, and secrecy. We have great development for our kids that is not yet in the 10s of 1000s as it can be in the coming years. A large percentage of our clubs kids go on to academy. Granted, not everyone can be so lucky and they are must make do with subpar service as you so well describe! I love this thread because it makes me so happy to have left that dysfunctional cesspool.
