Life always involves politics. The "rankings professionals" are revisiting the awarded points and will not redistribute the original.

Awarded points are not up for subjective debate. It's a formula used to allocate points once the flight values are calculated.

Wait - I am making a big deal out of this? Me? Now it's my fault?
I am not part of the group of parents that has been bitching constantly (with breaks for some sleep) that this tournament is being run unprofessionally, that underhanded things are going on, that they'll have "egg on face" (my favorite post so far), and that my team deserves better. If you really believe that - speak up to somebody who will do something about it - hint, not us.... or feel free to just sit there and take it.

And as for the next poster - yes, the parents on my kid's team tell the coach what they think and what we want to do. It's called communication. It keeps us from ending up in leagues that are 200 miles away and from going back to tournaments that give us crappy schedules or sub-par competition or are just a hassle.

I am paying the club to train my kid and enter the team in leagues/tournaments. They are doing both of those things very well, my kid is quite happy. If they were paying us, then they'd have the right to drag us wherever they wanted without asking us.

And back in the day, my kid's team was #1 in the state at U12 once too... they're not anymore.

Calling bull. Does one parent decide which tournaments you go to? Or do the parents vote and majority wins? Your coach goes along with that? Pay to play is fine for some but I am paying to have a coach I trust. The EDP Gold division is fine. The boys will enjoy the trip.

There is nothing anyone can do but wait for Got soccer to fix itself. It's a glitch we (lehigh, Ukes, and V) have to live with until its fixed.

Well if you have Valeo, WUP,FSA and from what I heard NEFC too then that is a pretty good start. Unless you know of teams better than those 4 in New England?

tell the Uke team to vouch for your results--sounds like they were itching for a rematch and they can't get one if you aren't in the same division at EDP--might help??

No glitch. Got Soccer through LV now maintains one ineligible player on Valeo. They are absolutely sure and have cross referenced the player's id already. Valeo will not be awarded additional points. It is a final decision.

The Newton parents have always been a bit unimpressed with the staff. This could sway them to part company come June.
