Face it. You just haven't had competition yet being on level 2 and 3 leagues like EDP 2nd division and Maple.

Good thing you're all rich and can afford the travel because that's what you're earning - award points for affording travel.

I like travel. Travel is fun! So does my kid. Play soccer? Of course! Earn points? Why not?
And by the way V earned 0 points for playing vs level 2 teams. All points earned in the top tournaments. Against top R1 teams. WUP had their chance as well. Unlucky. So shut up and keep watching. Show has just started.

You are right that many of the kids that usually play very well were not able to this tournament. Three or four starters on the bench. The ones on the field covering two or three positions because of the lack of support from the less experienced.

But you are wrong about the competition. They have faced much, much tougher competition over the fall. That is why we would have liked to see them play at their full potential against these teams. :) I don't see why that is so difficult to understand as I am sure you saw it with your own eyes. You know this is the truth.

How do you know this is even a WUP parent even responding to you? I am not a WUP parent but I was at that game. WUP had the best of the game for the entire game. Yes the last 10-15 minutes Valeo had chances and seemed to be pressing really hard. WUP sat back those last minutes and escaped a few close calls but weathered the storm. You are going to see a different team when playing with a 1 goal lead with little time left then you would from a team that is down with a little time left. WUP won the game... Valeo did not....it is that simple. I also think that at this stage both NEFC and WUP has players that stand above any on Valeo. it was just one tournament and hopefully just a small sample of more match ups like these.

Both WUP and NEFC are way ahead of the Valeo team in terms of soccer IQ at this juncture.

Valeo U12 just wouldn't be very competitive in the top NPL division or top EDP. They just wouldn't. They just don't have the talent from an "entire" team perspective. I would strongly advise the couple of decent players they have, to look elsewhere at this point and make a move to a stronger team for the spring. I just noticed a couple of players that can play decently but extremely raw as well.

Yes all the other team players are much much better than the Valep players. The more you post about it the more it will be true. The elite team is going to be much stronger in the spring. They are already strong but with some new recruits and one player coming down from the 13-year-old team and with some movement between other teams the players will be unbeatable. Bet on it.

This is simply not true about the WUP vs Valeo game. It is why WUP did not even make the semi's at the EDP Cup. Can't even get past second team players.

Several outstanding players. WUP did Valeo a big favor, seriously doubt long roster with B team players is happening in the spring.
