Approaching another teams bench, coach and players should be an immediate ejection. Just my opinion. Talk about something that should fit into the Zero Tolerance realm. It's only soccer. You are talking about little kids.

Oh, please. The Stars/Aztec coach was swearing like a sailor in front of his own players. And players on the other team heard him all game long. Whatever: girls at this level have heard it all before.

Funny how NEFC has become the ugly bully that they accused Stars and Scorps of being and claimed to have a much different mission. Won't be long before it is the most hated club in history of Massacusetts.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge. We were back to back with field where NEFC U-12s were playing the Stars in the finals. Yes, both very good teams. I was shocked to see the NEFC coach approach the Stars bench during the game and use profanity and hand gestures at the Star's coach in front of the entire bench of girls. The refs just gave the NEFC coach a warning and after much back and forth among the refs (and more arguing between NEFC coach and the refs) somehow didn't throw him out. Reflects very poorly on tournament that their officials didn't protect the kids in that situation. I don't think the Stars coach was showing a lack of class by avoiding the medal ceremony with the NEFC coach who had just threatened him at his own bench. I think he was wise to take the lead in avoiding confrontation, since the refs didn't seem to feel the need to do so.

Just jumping in here. You are either lying or you got the two coaches confused. My daughter told me that the Stars coach told her coach to fukc off three times. She also said the ref allowed the NEFC coach to go speak with the Stars coach because the NEFC coach said he knew the Stars coach, but that may not have been the case. Your view is very Stars slanted, which is not surprising.

Oh my-me thinks you doth protest too much! No, in fact I am not a coach at all and yes the direct line from the car parking to the porta potties is from the parking between the fields-you walk right through or take the very long way around. There was quite a prolonged scene there with the NEFC coach and the refs so not hard to see or overhear. In any case, I posted more as to the rules of the game and tournament oversight which is in line with the original topic. Apparently tempers are running high and I am not here to have a fight, just to point out that based on what I saw there might have been more behind the decision. So you're saying that you walked in between the two field and overheard all of this? You don't make much sense. I went to the porta potty and there is no way that you could overhear anything near the benches. It was too far away. You still haven't answered my question; what two teams were playing next to the NEFC vs Stars teams? You failed to answer that coach.

The Stars coach was out of line swearing at the NEFC coach and being disrespectful about his players! The NEFC rightly confronted him over it!

We came from CT to play in Needham and I thought the officials did a good job. I was watching the game where the Aztec coach was swearing, pretty embarrassing for the team.

I think becoming a Stars coach has IMO changed him for the worse. He was never like this before. Not that I'm defending him. After all you are responsible for your own actions. I don't think he has a clue what it will do to his business if that keeps up. I hope he finds peace with himself.
