Apparently if you want people to make up little soccer drama there is plenty to be found at Needham. If you want competition, go to FC Delco.

FC Delco for the younger ages and PDA for the older kids. NEFC is a big fish in a little pond at Needham.

Seriously, we have this big player and he gets pushed all over the place, all the time... most refs don't call cause he's big.. almost fell over when I heard the whistle today where he got a call.
Also a handball.. is a handball...not discretionary... We have a few called against us and they were correct ... Good for them.. As long as called equally tight, I would rather see this than the fiasco's the games have turned into in the State Cup and NEP.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostI completely agree. The referees at Lancaster were significantly better all this weekend than they were last weekend at the SC RR. That is not good when you think about it. The female referees were being mentored by a very experienced referee that was ref'ing the Breakers tonight with the referees he mentored in attendance.

Okay
Originally posted by Unregistered View PostTrue sideline idiot. Once someone calls it a handball u know they are trouble. Is it ball to hand or hand to ball....
It don't happen folks. Nor should it... The real question is if the player committed said foul.. Frankly it is missed alot. As I said, as long as its called equally good or equally bad, that's more important to a game. Consistency...
Now can we move on, please?

I don't know
I was reading the rule from link posted and there was some caveat about if your hand was protecting (I assume your family jewels) and the ball comes screaming at you, you don't have to move to avoid the call of handball.
Oopps, I am sorry "handling" whatever LOL
Seriously these folks that get all worked up over the term make me laugh. Who cares how fans refer to it. To me it's like the call "hanging on the rim" in basketball. I don't think there's a call "hanging on rim", it's a technical right?
Well, you don't hear fans screaming technical foul at games, you hear "hanging on the rim."
Folks in this forum try to look like an expert in this forum by pointing out the obvious instead of actually debating the issues.

After all you are responsible for your own actions. I don't think he has a clue what it will do to his business if that keeps up. I hope he finds peace with himself.
