So let me get this straight... Everyone is simply going to show up with their child and play.
No club coaches, dad coaches, mom coaches? Its a great idea but you need a field which cost $$$

So everyone that shows up will play nice on the pitch when mom and dad with be sizing up the competition. This is a great idea but we all know that no one is willing to have their kid enjoy a pick up game with kids that could be better than them......nope in the world of TS

I would hate to spend time with these people on the sidelines hearing endless about their kid. I already here it at the club practice.

Let's get back to u11. After all the bluster from u10 WU dad last year, are they just one of 6 or so good teams after NEFC? Sure looks like it. What happened?

"My so-so". That is all you hear. NOTE: If you use the word "My" before your child's name you are probably making a statement that the other person could care less about.
Club soccer adds an additional layer of pretentious that is the frosty on the top.
Thankfully this works its way out of the sport by the time the kids are in HS. Notice the difference in the HS threads and the U11 threads. Intelligent and civil in one -- d-baggers in the other.
Oh well back to the scrimmage plan. So where is this going to ge?

Most of these kids won't be together when the are older. Let them have fun. Their team right now will not be the team they are with in the future. It's funny to listen to U10 and U11 parents talk, They actually think this is their team for life. Not going to happen. Not all kids that are great at a younger age are great when they are older.
