It won’t be competitive in any location. As with Stars White, The second team will always be missing players in key positions.

I think a club having a second team at the top of its pyramid is stupid, but this comparison to Stars isn’t entirely accurate. Stars Blue and White play out of the same facility which means White will never get anything but the leftovers from Blue; there’s no reason for a player to choose White. The NS NEFC location is around an hour away from the current location, which means that players currently on GA and making a long drive who want to stay in that league have another option. It also opens up the potential to pull players from NH and Northern MA that couldn’t do the drive to Mendon.
[/QUOTE]That works for DPL, where the goal is “good enough.” But no top player is going to be, or should be, satisfied with a second team and a lower quality of training and play. For example, top NH and North Shore players are driving to Lancaster and will continue to do so.
