grouping member teams/clubs together for the purpose of playing each other in a structured format is generally referred to as a “league”. It can be a league of showcases or a league of weekly matches but it’s still a league.

unless of course this collaboration between the leagues results only in some new showcases/tournaments in which case why bother with a big announcement

So RI Surf 2nd teams? NEFC NS Red teams? Sporting CT and Ginga be best of the bunch by looks of it. NEFC are down in all age groups, Mass City are poor, SeaCoast Maine are not great.
