Smart move by NEFC! First adding two other teams in the Northeast conference that are far enough away so they can only damage the ECNL clubs(a little) and at the same time reduce travel for their parents. This also gave the base to let it look legit to add their B team while keeping good competition out.

Now we are embracing the "B Team Theory"? Interesting swing of emotions there.

The rest means White, Scorps, NEFC (white and red), SSS. Maybe NEFC has conceded and are going after the next level while lining their pockets with additional teams. I’m not neglecting the fact that 1-2 girls from SSS will play P4, I’m just going by recent history of commits. Or, and this is a long shot, All the teams that have two current GA designations will eventually get one team in ECNL and the second team will be correctly placed in the GA, a B division comparatively. Either way, good for NEFC for making lemonade from lemons by trying to reduce travel and corner the second tier soccer market, this is where the bubble in the bell curve live anyway. The hardest part is acknowledging you a squarely second division.
You do understand that GA and DPL have many of the same board members.

NEFC is losing players going to ECNL. NEFC loses their closest competition, adds in poor teams, and you see this as making lemonade out of lemons? That's not lemonade, that's piss.

If all the top GA clubs have 2 teams they just flip the switch and make the top team for every GA club with 2x teams an NWSL Next team.
Boom, league within a league for NWSL Next.
And how many ECNL clubs will instantly jump over to GA if they get NWSL Next and a GA team? (Cough ECNL + ECRL Cough)

- The big GA teams win.
- Most of the big GA teams with 2 teams already have MLS Next
- It gives ECNL clubs a reason to jump over
- GA could just merge in DPL and all of sudden all games are local.
