NEFC MW won 2-0 and a good win to stay at the top but Baside was tough. Bayside plays some good ball and if not for a ball going through the goalies legs, it would have been closer. Bayside hit the bar and had a 1v1 with the goalie that they missed. Good competitive game overall and got to give the advantage to NEFC in the game. It was a good U12 game to watch with a lot of nice plays by both teams. Once again the officiating was bad and both coaches weren't happy with the bad calls on both sides.

Very good game, and a deserved win for NEFC. It was a pity about the size of the field, as I think a bigger field would have suited Bayside more. Good dialogue between the NEFC and Bayside parents, which is nice to see. Ref was horrible and got a fair amount of calls wrong. Linesmen did nothing to earn their pay. One of them just waited for the ref to point and they would follow suit. I was impressed with Bayside and the played the game the right way. Some nice speedy players.

Nefc probably not too upset about the field size. Smaller fields play into their direct style of play. Officiating has been disappointing across the board this year.

Does anybody stop this NEFC MW team from going undefeated? They have beaten western the last 4 times they have played them and the last 4 times they have played scorps elite, they have gone 3-0-1.

Oh my gosh! This team is so good, other teams should just quiver at the knees and forfeit. This team might be better than the current Boston College Girls team. I hear that all the girls are over 6 foot and they have been known to actually eat lesser teams.

Really? Who cares ? come back when they are at U16 and up if they are still running the table, that is when winning games consistently begins to actually matter.

And those that do care, I hope the kids are still playing at U16 and up.

should be a great game. Stars has been looking forward to this for some time. there is no dispute that these are the two best teams at u12. should not be a nep vs maple discussion this stars vs nefc and who is moving forwars(stars) and who is regressing. jmo
