just an fyi these teams thought u12 premiership was a joke so they decided to play u13.

Nefc will use this as tune up for the upcoming CASL tournament. Nothing to prove and dont get anyone hurt.

Keep talking!! We will see what happens when you lose 1/3 of your team to Scorps and Stars ECNL teams next year!

NEFC team will be begging to come back to their own division. It only makes sense for the best kids to move to those teams. It's a chance to get noticed by some big time colleges.

I won't take anything away from that team, they are good but can you keep them together. My guess is they will start to defect sometime next year. What happens is you start talking to early in the game and then you eat your words!!

This is obviously a Scorpions poster, because everyone from outside of the Scorpions knows that nobody leaves a good club to play for the Scorpions.

This team will continue to get better. No player of consequence will leave this team. If there is turnover it will be to upgrade team. Even the new players are starting to "get it" after a slow start. Team will continue to be the best in their age group for the forseeable future. Scorpions are slowly imploding and will not be a factor at all.

What have been the head to head results of NEFC SS United vs Stars United? They have very similar track records to date playing in NEP U13. I also know they meet this coming weekend in NEP, but what has been the history between these two? Reason I ask is because I suspect Stars would challenge your assertion that NEFC will be "best in their age group for the forseeable future." I have seen both play and respect both a lot. I guess I just don't see as much distance between the two as you seem to.

NEFC coaches in-fighting will prevent consolidation of talent on one team. Stars are very focused and appear to be developing rapidly with JD. Small but skillful. Might not be there yet but very close.

Outsider here. NEFC is about 2 goals better than Stars so I'd expect them to win and to do so by about 2 goals. We shall see what happens when they actually play head to head.

They were two goals better a year ago. I think jmo that these teams are much closer today maybe goes either way. Should be a great game and whatever the gap was it has gotten much smaller if at all.

Unless you're a coach within NEFC, please explain what "coaches in-fighting" means?? Also, you meant to say that Stars was busy recruiting talent, than developing it, right? Out of their current team, how many have come through the academy?

IMO, NEFC BB has just gotten better. i say at least 2 , maybe 3 goals better than Strs JD. Again, only My opinion.

I agree, These are two very good teams. Stars made it to the finals in their Cup and BB's to the semi-finals. Both played a excellent NY team and lost by (1) goal. This tells me it should make for a very interesting game but as everyone knows on any given Sunday anything can happen. Best of luck to both teams!!

Lets not forget Stars "rigged" the brackets so they would make it to the finals.
