I don't think pummeling Hull and Harwich can be considered "running away" with anything. Who is next, Nantucket? The draw with Cohasset is very telling. Not taking anything away from EB, but please let us know when you face a decent opponent. Anyone can load up on easy schedule.

Yet Canton is ranked nationally in the NSCAA poll at number 5. They are number 6 in the Eastern Mass poll.

lets be real. it is so hard to come up with a top 10 for high school girls soccer. Team A will be team B by 3 and Team B will beat Team C by 3 but Team A will lose to team C by 2. It is so unpredictable. I think we can all agree both central andover and winchester are all good solid teams but whoever wins the state tournament this year none of us can tell by this point.

The team cannot chose their opponents. Their league has 9 teams so there is not space for non league games. All they can do is play the teams they play. They play two non league games vs Spellman and that gives them a better level of competition. In the end the lack of competitive games might hurt in the tournament, but if you have not seen them play they play very well. They have one of the top players in the state up top and a great supporting cast of players. The little center midfielder is outstanding and wins most balls that comes her way and creates lots of chances to all areas of the field.
