So how are tryouts going if they aren't over? And if they are how does your daughters team look? Any team we should look for in D1 that will do well? Any superstar freshman show up? How much conditioning did you guys do?

I think that peobody and central catholic but have potential to win states this year.

The only thing is I don't want my daughters team to go to the state championship because it interferes with casl, and casl is way more important than high school soccer.

Originally posted by HS Harry View PostDoubtful. Central has non-league games with Winchester, Shrewsbury, Danvers and Lexington. More than likely there was an inquiry by Peabody but CC already had its NL schedule set. However, I must admit that Peabody isn't the most desirable NL opponent - despite the team's quality - because they have a poor home field (small, dark and with bad drainage). They also have a less than stellar reputation for conduct. In the past it has been Peabody that has failed to beef up its NL slate, and they have paid for it come tournament time. That changed a little last year with the addition of AB and the changes to the NEC format. This year they have tough NL tests with AB and cross town rival Fenwick. They also added two with Lowell and games with Chelmsford and Brookline. Not a particularly demanding group, but far better than the past.
