    This sums it up.

A new, quality coach. A national team midfielder.
These upgrades are bound to make you better.

BBN = SM. Not much separating these two teams.

Not much separating these two teams excpet SM has 3 ISL wins to BB & N's 0.

I'm guessing SM has a shot at winning 7 of their remaining 10 games. How many wins will BB &N get?

These two programs aren't even close right now.

That seems like a fair assessment.

St mark's is in the midst of a turnaround, but you have vastly overrated them if you think they can win 7 of their last 10. They should beat Southfield, St Paul's and St George's but they will be hard pressed to beat any of the other 7; Nobles, Milton, Governors, Rivers, Thayer, Worcester and Groton.

Have to agree, turn around yes, but dominate. Not this year at least, they have had all low hanging fruit to date, wait until they match up against a better team before you anoint the next coming.....

They are still the brightest turn around story in the ISL this year, and as such deserve to be a bit euphoric about the whole thing. I think they should just stay psyched and keep trying. Can't hurt to believe!

Is the national team player a freshman? If so, the league will have a rough three years after this season handling her

Its a team game folks. One, two or three players does not make a team a winning team. SM is quite improved, no doubt. They just squeaked out a win against a team that lost two games giving up a combined 13 goals in those two games and they held SM to one goal, which was scored in the last few minutes of the game. That's not yet a power in this league. Not even close.
It is nice to see they have lifted themselves out of last place in the ISL, but please, they have a long way to go past the middle of the ISL. They have passed St Georges, St Pauls, BB&N and Lawrence. Maybe Thayer as well. That's about it.

Oh come on. Your post smacks of sour grapes. Let's not forget: this is a school where girls' soccer in recent years could win sportsmanship awards, and that's about it. For CP to do such a great job recruiting and getting the players to believe in themselves is fantastic. As someone else pointed out, in the past they've managed to eke out, at most, one win a season. This is a terrific accomplishment for St. Mark's. Keep it up, ladies.

I wonder if CP will keep up with the heavy recruiting. If he has a consecutive recruiting class with same quality of players, I can see them moving from the middle of the pack to the very top.

I'm telling you, it's the English accent that makes all the difference!!
