You people should be ashamed of yourselves. First you presume to lecture on the ethics and behavior of SW parents, then you post crap like this.
You take great joy in seeing 13 year old girls fail to make the finals at Stars Cup. Are you seriously then going to lecture about morals and ethics?
No, I am not a SW parent. My girls chose to leave club soccer because of stuff like this. Oh, and before you trash my kids and their ability...they were both recruited by Stars A teams.
I hope your kids don't know this side of you.

What's interesting to me is the money you people think the Stars makes on these tournaments. Have you looked at MYSA field rental fees per hour lately? Add in referees, trainers, cops directing traffic, ambulances on call, and nonvolunteer other- staff hours, website hosting, etc.etc.etc. to get ready for this? A former Scorpion parent who has planned MANY events like this and it's rarely the profit people think it is.

I can see why the poster said what they did. People on this forum constantly begin posts with..."obviously your kid got cut" or "obviously your kid isn't good enough to make the team...", especialy if the previous poster disagrees with them.
Chill out. No matter what you think of the above poster and their motives, the bottom line is, this thread is way out of line AND, if what the poster said is true, two talented players were driven from club soccer because of...as you put it...crazy soccer parents.

Very quiet! Have the parents of the most gifted sports team since the 1927 Yankees matured and become responsible moms and dads? Best of luck to the Stars of Western Mass

How did you come to that conclusion? I will agree with the assessment of the Stars, but SSS only win so far is against u11s and Crusaders have one win as well.

Just because SSS beat Stars in June and August it doesn't mean they are playing well now.
I haven't seen them play, so maybe they are playing well, but the scoreboard doesn't seem to show it. Considering their experience playing 11 v 11 one would expect they would be dominating the division.

When did SSS play Stars in August? It doesn't look like they were in the same flight in the Stars Cup.
