What it really comes down to for the upcoming western MA U13 girls is choices. Pioneers coaches scream and degrade players, while WU coaches are so meek and mild they lost half their team. FC MA (Amherst) had a good coach but 1 player who carried the team until she got injured. SDA is almost as far as Lancaster, so what are their choices?
Yes, there was some slick operating to say the least, but families have extremely limited options if they live in the Springfeild area and want their daughter to play for a higher level club. Can we all just drop this because its the girls...the 12 and 13 year old girls, who will end up suffering. If any of you find satisfavction in going after kids, then I guess I have nothing I can say to that.
Unless you live here in western MA, and unless you have a daughter in this age group who can compete at a higher level, you really should keep your comments to yourselves. We who live here and do not have the luxury of choosing from several higher quality clubs so close to home have made our choices. Lets just let the girls play.
