I don't know the guy. On here, he hasn't said anything that I know of negative about any kid, or any team for that matter. He questions what is going on with ECNL because he is comparing it to what he knows, but that's about it. Nothing negative.
Because he posts a fair amount he runs afoul of other peoples set opinions and people go after recognizable targets. BTDT seems honest. Problem is that there are peoples livelyhoods affected by player movement, and in effect are paid to post. Post a lot when people know who you are and some will find it annoying.

Second, whether you know it or not he is out there recruiting players IN SEASON to take the spots of players on his daughters team, players who have been working hard for their coach and club and teammates.. and dont pretty well actually. Why is he doing that? For what he thinks is his daughters sake..but if he were successful then it would be to the detriment of other players on the TEAM.
If you were to ask parents of players on his U13 daughters former team what their opinion is then you would get some interesting answers.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostHave you ever met him? My daughter is on that team. He's a stand up guy. Outgoing and generous with his time. Does a lot for kids. Not nearly the distraction some of you want to paint him as. I bet he' s in CH's ear the least of anyone on the team. His big thing clearly is the travel but he says most of what he has to say here, not on the side lines. He certainly isn't what I would consider to be a team killer by any stretch of the imagination.

It's the beginning of the end for NEFC's perfect season. And it's all being documented on TS. I love it!

Any team that doesn't have that level of talent through out will be just a bottom dweller at the national level. Right now there are 4-5 national level prospects in the class of 2016 from this general area. Unless they all end up on one team (unlikely) none of the local teams are going to make much of a splash at that level.

All that aside, it is pretty funny to watch him holding court on the sidelines of his daughter's games.

If he decides to jump ship - of course he'll do it without any notice.
