pretty much every kid that is playing college in the fall is proud of their acomplishment (as they should be) so don't believe for a second that a proud player or parent wouldn't want to announce to the world where their son or daughter is playing. mass is not a hot bed for producing d1 players so there are not 10 other mass kids out there who have commited to d1 schools and "just are not bothering to contact espn and get their commitments listed." try not to be so foolish, why do you despise the rise list so much?

Ahem, I am a very proud parent who has not contacted Rise to report my son's commitment.

Why do you think they would feel any less pride by choosing not to email the ESPN Rise web site? They chose a school based on a number of personal factors, and they are happy. You don't have any God given right to know what that decision is, or why they made it. But these players have a reasonable expectation not to have their decision questioned by someone whom they've never met.

Of course you do. You HATE the DAP, and your current life's work is trash the program. Same old tired, boring, "I hate the Bolts" refrain. Time for a new act. You're about as stale as a Lawrence Welk rerun.

I hope you get a kidney stone.

That was really nice and mature. I actually like the DAP, I also like seeing non-DAP players get their due.

They do, in fact, get their due. And I'm sure they don't need some bitter anonymous helicopter parent speaking up for them. After all, they didn't mneed your help getting into the school.

It is not ignorant it is the truth. I play for the bolts U18 DAP team and constantly talk to kids all the time about where they are going. Noone is receiving any huge scholarship to play but they will be on the team.
