I think the answer is none..... they are trying to field teams - still putting them together.....

This is a pretty good point. If they use Maple standings why not continue with the maple mentality? If you continue to win in the SC, you get a good seed or a seed based on previous years SC results. If you think about it, they are using results from about a year ago.

Only the U13s at Scorp Bowl? What about the other teams? Are they playing in any preseacon tournaments?

If the majority of you hate the Bolts, and think that their girls program is dead, why have you posted 28 pages of comments about them?

Who hates the Bolts? Gotta love 'em! But, what are they up to?

The girls program isn't dead, although it's amazing how quickly it slipped to second-tier status. All it took was the aging of one team, the departure of another team, and the relegation of a third team. Still, there's nothing wrong with running a quality second-tier program, although some might think that high fees should translate into superior team performance.

Players are the girls teams are leaving on a weekly basis. I heard 5 players in the last few weeks to Stars U12, U13 and U14 teams. At least two of them have moved to Stars Athletic/rovers team. So moving from the Bolts #1 team to a clubs second and third teams should tell you something. A couple have moved to Eagles aswell.

What steps is Tony M taking to slow the exodus?

You can make fun at it all you want but it is happening. Players are not just leaving for Stars but for other clubs aswell. Is this not disturbing for the Bolts people. It is for me being a parent from the Bolts

Not sure, but probably not as many steps as he would if he didn't have his college coaching position to fall back on.

So is he still the head coach at Wellesley or not?

Does he ever show up for team training (other than his own team)? That was a big complaint about T. Kerr.

The Bolts have had access to very good coaching over the years. T.Kerr being one of them. Unfortunately, it's difficult to be committed to a team as coach and also cover the director position. It's probably more do-able if the Director coaches a younger team with less demands. T.Kerr was coaching a national level team with all the demands and commitments that go along. That probably short changed her director responsibilities.

Nicky Wood will be taking over Tracy's team, which is the jewel of the Bolts girls program, and will not have director responsibilities. That means Tony and Jessica Pfeifer should be able to provide more dedicated oversight.
