The U15 and U16 teams imploded and no one but the small carryover of players from last year - reported as being no more than 8 girls per team - are still trying to get a team together. That is "free fall." No less than CRU or Fuller-Hamlets.
    just wait and see....

SO the BOLTS U-18 girls that won the state cup and have MANY D1 college players doesn't count??????
      Free fall...I think NOT
Not meant to bash, but that team is graduating out, so how can you use them to counter the argument that the club is not in "free fall"?

As far as U15s and U16s are concerned, there is no reason not to combine teams at this age.

All the coaches involved with this team have left.

U-10 may be Ok and U-11 seemed to do quite well...

          U-12. U-13 and U-14 were DOA.....

Last Spring, they did not have one (girls) team with a winning record.

I do not think freefall is to harsh....[/quote]

U13s have had players leave for other clubs in the last few weeks

Oh come on! The grass is truly pretty much greener anywhere else these days for girls than at the Bolts.

i dont dislike the bolts but i believe the girls u15 team lost propably there best player (sweeper) to stars region 1 team.hopefully they will be able to replace her and whoever else left as i think they are a pretty good club.

The begining of the end for the curent u15 bolt girls started when a striker left before last season, and the team avoided 07 fall relagation by a thread with scoring a problem that never got solved. last spring in subregion they had many scoring chances and little luck converting. Too many games and no enough depth especialy on ofense led to relagation and the curent rebuilding situation. all too bad because they had a solid team for a couplle years.

THE BOLTS TEAM FINISHED THIRD IN THE FALL MAPLE TIED THE SCORPIONS AND LOST IN A NARROW MARGIN TO STARS. HARDLY RELEGATION MATERIAL.

MORE ACCURATE WOULD BE "LOST MOST ATHLETIC PLAYER". NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT JUST THE FACT.

More acurrate is "lost they're 2 or 3 most athletic players over the last couple years" as they lost u15 striker + sweeper + midfielder to top stars teams.

MORE ACCURATE IS THAT THAT (SWEEPER) WAS THE MOST ATHLETIC PLAYER. THE STRIKER WAS INDDED THE BEST PLAYER FOR THE BOLTS
                          AND NOW FOR THE STARS.

The U15 girls did finish 3rd in the fall as U14's. THEN in the spring they lost all but ONE of their games and scored 2 goals all season. Dead last in MAPLE. Quite a fall. Relegated to D2. They will be lucky to win more than a couple games this spring as U15's.

How many players have returned to the U15 team this year? I believe last year's coach's daughter has moved on. Have they added any new talent?

All in all, will the U15s be better, worse or about the same as last year?
