I'm curious, I notice that there are 9 teams in the u12 Blue division. Does that mean there will be 8 games? Or, will each team not play someone? It could make a difference in the standings if that is what happens.
Thats exactly what's going to happen. It will have a bearing because the top 4 in Blue don't play the first weekend of round robin.

So someone is going to catch a break and not have to play Stars, WU or Fuller. Perhaps they'll not have to play each other. It's going to get very interesting on this forum when the schedule is released. I can hear the cries of conspiracy already!

Blackwatch should be in with this group
Has anyone played Blackwatch and/or Bolts this winter? What were the results?

Dear Mr/Mrs Blackwatch parent,
GIVE IT UP ALREADY! You can't cut in line. You must earn your way to the top. MAPLE is a meritocracy and you must pay your dues!
"Has anyone played Blackwatch and/or Bolts this winter? What were the results?"
Great question and the lack of an answer from the Blackwatch booster(s) is getting pretty tiresome. You want to make your assertions, then play some 11 v 11 games against some high quality teams. Set up some 11 v 11 friendlies this winter. The top teams in the U-12 group are always keen to play. Until then . . . . well, you get the rest.
they will play each other, there will be double header weekends. There is always a double header in these large groups.
Its a 7 games schedule you can't just add another date.
There are 9 teams in Blue. Everyone will play each team and double headers will be scheduled to do so. Unless MAPLE decides to re-divisionalize the 43 teams playing in 5 divisions.
GIVE IT UP ALREADY! You can't cut in line. You must earn your way to the top. MAPLE is a meritocracy and you must pay your dues!
Sincerely,
U12 Blue parents
Exactly. A great example of this "MAPLE meritocracy" would be the U11 Stars team last fall. Oh...no...wait...that wouldn't be a good example would it. In fact, that goes completely against your entire arguement in that certain clubs can "cut in line".
Did they earn it? Or, did they cut in line. It wasn't the Stars fault. MAPLE begged them to please fill that spot.
While Black Watch was "paying its dues" in the White Division, the Stars U11 team was going 0 and __ in the U12 Blue division.
Looking at what happened last fall...who benefited more from MAPLEs meritocracy, the U11 Stars team or the U12 Black Watch team?
Does anyone have a child from this age group in the ODP pool. This age is playing up so I have questions.
How many u13's made the pool?
Do the u12's hold their own?
Have the State Coaches been at the sessions?
What has the session content been?
Does your child enjoy the sessions?
Are they comparable to you club sessions?
4 of the 5 keepers are U13'3 (or true 95's)
Yes the U12 holds her own
Yes the state coach has been at both sessions
very strenous agility drills and technical drills
Yes my child enjoys the session and is having fun
Club team does not offer keeper training, but the drills she has been doing are comparable to the drills she does at private keeper practice
Of the 5 keepers at the 95's level, I would rate the 12 year old at #3. This due mostly to size difference not technique.

I believe some of these teams have already played each other over the winter Fuller/Stars/WU/Granite.
