Wind was a very significant factor yesterday afternoon. The Stars, with their size, SPEED and strength advantages, should have benefitted from the wind.
They did.
The Stars are just fine thank you very much for asking. Ask the Puma coach/parents/palyers.
No need to ask, just expected more than I saw with all the hype!
Also, IMO I think the c0cky attitude of the parents is rubbing off on the kids!
It was also the Scorpions second team without their two strongest players. The Blackwatch team is stronger than the Scorpions second team, but it should be noted that the Scorpions team wouldn't have lost in such a lopsided game had they had these two key players. They've proven to be very competitive with most teams.
I only post because people seemed surprised with the result. Blackwatch would beat Scorpions at full strength too. But probably not by six goals.

More like the other way round, Puma have gone backwards since u11 and "when" the keeper leaves, what next my friend. It was a loud cheer from you guys when it finished 1-0. I see you set high expectations of yourself. For the record one of your parents was ejected from the field, am I correct? or maybe that was you. Role models.

No, not me and I cannot defend the actions of that parent. Embarassing!
The cheer was for the fact that everyone came off the field not permanently injured. The Stars are able to get away with their brutish style of play now as their "early maturers" tend to beat you up. This will change by u14.
"IF" the keeper leaves we'll find another. I'm guessing the Stars have already inquired?
Admittedly it has been tough for PUMA to stay on track with all the coaching changes but we're heading in the right direction now. Watch out in June.

Prediction for June,
Puma will be playing for their D1 status and 4 or 5 players will leave and go to MPS. Its already in motion my friend. Look at the big picture has your daughter developed since u9? Answer honestly.
How is a parent "ejected"? Are they escorted off by the police? Can the referee ask the person to leave at the risk of forfeit? Is this a MAPLE rule?I assume they can't be red carded since they are not playing.
Ref can ask a parent to leave at risk of failure. In a volunteer capacity for my club I've been asked by a ref to remove parents at tournaments. It's amazing how even the most obnoxious parent will leave calmly when asked.
