Inflation in retreat. Lowest unemployment since 1969.

of course the cons are upset by this.

          that is all :)

            “ in retreat”
            From a 40 year high.
            Unemployment is statistical gimmickry.
The labor participation rate is more revealing regarding the state of the employment sector.
Wages increase, jobs increase, however consumer spending is down, housing sales down, car sales down, personal debt up, what does that say?

401k and investments for the majority of Americans have plummeted in value under this Regime.

As a consequence of the policies of the Regime, the Fed will most likely continue to raise interest rates, spooking Wall Street , which may result in additional losses for Americans in their 401k and investments.

However NPR and the DNC MSM wAnts America to focus on George Santos.

            that is all.

Half of all Americans don't own a single stock, not even in a 401 K. They don't care about the stock market - they care about jobs, salary and inflation. Jobs are still plentiful, salaries good, inflation is still high but definitely slowing down.

Besides, what have the Republicans done to make lives better for Americans? Nothing. Nor will they get rid of the Santos turd because they're too desperate for his vote in their barely House majority.

You apparently fail to see beyond the Propaganda served up to you.

So we should just not discuss the tremendous amount of wealth that as, you say, only one half of Americans in the stock market have lost?
Everyone should care even if they don’t have any Investments, because the drop in value of public companies has a tremendous affect on potential growth, investment, longevity and present and future employment.

“ inflation is still high but definitely slowing down”
It is the 40 year high increase that has already occurred, and has had a direct influence on disposable income, cost of living , the ability for Americans to maintain, or even improve their standard of living. The slowdown in consumer spending , the increase in personal debt , even claims of wage increases and All those new jobs created tell one that perhaps it. Is just keeping so many people just out of deep water.

As far as all the so called jobs created, this is nothing to cheer about. It has been projected and expected for quite some time. The largest workforce in the history of the United States, the baby boomers, are, and have been leaving the work force in huge numbers, opening up positions as they exit. The proof that this is happening is the labor participation rate , which is not increasing, in fact , it has been decreasing. The higher unemployment rates in the past are directly related to the huge numbers of available workers competing for the positions. As the numbers of available workers falls, the competition for available jobs is less fierce.

Republicans have done nothing. Perhaps , but that is better than the meddling, tampering and pushing ideological unrelated narratives and circumstances into policy . Just look at the results of all of this interference in the free market system. Look what it has done.

^^^^ Such a “wordy” post my god if you can’t make a point mote briefly don’t bother.

which is why I read a sum of three words as I scrolled by.

try to be brief and to the point ….

we just had news that inflation has been brought to heel and unemployment is lowest since 1969!

in other words, life got better for average working Americans.

is that why the stock market went down? Those who invest there do so and do well on the backs of the average American?

perhaps the stock market in its current form needs to be ….remodeled …

                  :)

Americans do vote their pocketbook so when inflation is a non-issue (on the way, perhaps by election season?) and workers have many job options, well, we shall see, won’t we :)

I’ve got popcorn until then :)

inflation didnt go down ,it slowed from a 40 year high
the jobs number was good-but that is a fraction of the story-
what new jobs were created? what is the salary for those jobs, are they high skill /high paying or are people under employed?
amazon laid of 67000 last year- not all of those came with severance, how many of those 67K took jobs making less? how many took jobs making more?
i know a very well known company that just laid off 50% of its workforce- from VP to sales- thats a broad amount of salaries (250K-45K), are those people going to be able to pop into like positions?

I also love well Pols say they created those jobs- that always is funny
the only thing politicians create is regulation and taxes
