Those. 70B in profits helps explore for, develop , drill and distribute the energy that makes a First World. Country and provides the citizens with a high standard of living.. Those profits also go into the pockets o f investors and shareholders, 401K, retirement savings , etc. Those companies create and maintain job, with employees who pay taxes and are consumers for. The economy,, the principal driver of economic growth under the current circumstances. We hear similar nonsensical complaints from the eft regarding. Big pharma and the Health Care Industry. They never acknowledge that the increases in American’s life spans over the last 50 years directly linked to those issues..

”. All options” should not include countries without an EPA, without regulations, without regard to environmental concerns. Will they stop on a dime in a project because o some turtles?

2008 was a different era, a digfferent environment. Today we have advanced technologically regarding processes and practical measures to draw the energy that we are so gifted to have. The options were much less , the toolbox emptier back then. You do realize that gasoline, one of the most powerful energy sources ever developed, pound for pound, was once a waste product.

No one said Ukraine doesn’t “ deserve support”. The support should be consummate with the reality of the situation. Ukraine is a breadbasket, and energy holder that has a history of corruption . If Hunter Biden can get a job on a board there of a natural gas company, why wasn’t he employable in America under the same circumstances ? Because the circumstances aren’t he same. America isn’t as corrupt.

The people of Ukraine are victims of Putin’s maniac behavior, yet they are also victims of circumstance regarding their own system of Governent.
