She threatened to LIE to the cops when they arrived. She threatened to accuse him of a crime he did not commit.

lol OP here and I'm most definitely not a conservative. Yes what she did and threaten to do was horrible. NYC is still looking at possible charge(s) but they would still probably be misdemeanors. I supposed the black man could sue in civil court but he seems extremely reasonable and chill. Thankfully nothing happened to him.

I still think her consequences (job lost, name forever on the internet, even lost her dog) and other white people seeing those consequences are way more of a deterent than any legal punishment you could ever dish out. Other "Amys" or "Karens" seeing what happened may think twice when they see a group of black people having a picnic or jogging in a white neighborhood. Yes have reasonable legal charges but society doesn't see those consequences.

For sure Amy is done but Biden is not "forced" to take Abrams at all. There are other minority females who are highly qualified. Also, he doesn't need the African American vote, even more so now. Biden's primary focus has to be a VP who seen as competent and experienced, ready to fill his shoes if need be. Someone with substantive federal experience (Congress) or a governor/large city mayor - someone sho has run stuff. Abrams doesn't fit either of those and there are many other women who do.

Meanwhile Trump is officially done with minority voters. If he gets the same percentage he did in 2016 I'll be surprised, and even that was only 8% with African Americans and I think mid teens with Hispanics.
