But no big deal that right before the election Trump was negotiating a huge deal with the Russian government, who was at that time feloniously interfering with our elections to help Trump? Nor is it a big deal that Trump paid off two of his mistresses with whom he was having affairs within months of his wife giving birth and then lied about it to the American people -- which has been found to be a crime already? Not like that info could have swayed the elections, right? And not like knowing that Trump was negotiating with Russia leading up to the elections would have had an impact on the voters, right?

How many investigations were conducted on Benghazi? Ten? And what did the reports find? No fault for Clinton. Even the Repubs final report found that. But you keep promulgating the party lies. I mean line.

This is classic. The guy who conducted the investigation found nothing but that didn't stop Reince from spinning the same tale that you continue to spin years later:

Asked about bumper stickers and buttons with the grim tagline, “Clinton lied, people died” that emerged in the wake of the attacks, Gowdy responded, “You don’t see that t-shirt on me and you’ve never seen that bumper sticker on any of my vehicles.”

And yet shortly after the at-times heated press conference, Republican National Committee Reince Priebus seemed to make the opposite point.

Priebus said the report made clear Clinton and the administration of President Barack Obama “engaged in a politically-motivated cover up.” On initial reports that a video disparaging Islam had provoked the attack, he said Clinton “shamefully peddled this false narrative,” calling it a “disqualifying act of deception.”

The Repubs even created a new committee to make sure that the prior Repub committee didn't miss anything when it found no fault:

A report released late Friday about the fatal 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya, left Republicans in the same position they have been in for two years: with little evidence to support their most damning critiques of how the Obama administration, and then-Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, responded to the attacks.

Similar to five other government reports, the one released by the House Intelligence Committee on Friday said that the administration had not intentionally misled the public about what occurred during the attacks in talking points it created for officials to use in television appearances that turned out to be inaccurate.

It also said that no order was given by the military to “stand down” in responding to try to save the four Americans killed in the attacks, a claim that Republicans have made based on the account of a member of the security team in Benghazi that day.

Coming six months after Speaker John A. Boehner created a separate special committee to investigate the Benghazi attacks, the report raised questions about what that panel might uncover that the Intelligence Committee — whose chairman, Representative Mike Rogers, Republican of Michigan, is leaving Congress — and the other investigations missed.
Come on Snowflake. Where is the critical thinking? In one case you have Obama telling the American people, a clear campaign message, that he got Bin Laden, Al Qaeda is on the run and he has it under control but then on September 11th, Benghazi happens, and they cover up and spin a false narrative over four dead Americans. Your equating that with Trump doing his job making international deals even though this deal in Russia didn't get off the ground because no one could claim the rights to the land in question.

**All of the contacts where in one direction, from Russians to the Trump campaign. Name one meaningful contact that was in the other direction? And the lies where after the campaign was essentially over when it was discovered that Russia was trying to influence.

"The dossier contains allegations against several of Trump's campaign officials and associates of having secret contacts with Russians during the campaign. Steele's raw intelligence reports cited unnamed sources alleging these communications were part of a widespread effort to collude on the election and secure the White House for Trump.

**Again, name one secret meeting with Russians that was started by a Trump campaign official that wasn't part Trump's very public message to the American people when he repeatedly said it would be a good thing to get along with Russia? Flynn was doing his job during the transition.

When the memos spilled into public view, Trump and at least five other senior administration officials denied in emphatic and often sweeping terms that anyone involved in the campaign was in contact with Russians. But in the two years since those denials were issued, news reports and court filings revealed that at least 16 Trump associates had contacts with Russians during the campaign or transition.

      **Again all in one direction.

Steele's memos lay out specific meetings that haven't been corroborated. But his claim that there was regular contact between Trump's campaign and Russians has held up over time. When he wrote his memos in 2016, hardly any of these contacts were publicly known. They have since been revealed in Mueller's court filings, countless news reports and testimony on Capitol Hill.

      **Again all in one direction.

**No need to go further when you cant nail your top assertions.
So where are all the collusion prosecutions/ convictions?
Actually the collusion word has disappeared - seems to be a dry hole

This is the best that you could do? You mean when dummy Page traveled to Russia for a meeting that he repeatedly lied about until put under oath, that was too in one direction? And when Flynn called Kysliak about dropping Russian sanctions and then lied to the American people about it until caught, that too was in one direction?

Regardless of who made the contact, the contact was made and Trump lied about it repeatedly before the election. You have no response to that.

You also have no response to the fact that the dossier was correct about these contacts with Russia. The repeated ones that Trump lied to the American people about. And also that you have to admit that the Dossier was absolutely correct that there were negotiations regarding a project in Moscow that Trump was trying to finalize.

Having admitted these facts that are not subject to debate, you nevertheless will repeat that the dossier was fake. That was the point of the post. The challenge was to show that it wasn't fake. Though some things haven't been proven yet, critical aspects of it have been proven.

You brushing it aside as if you're smarter than everyone else only placates you but doesn't address the issue. You are pretty dense if you keep eating the garbage your dear leader keeps feeding about the "fake" dossier and the only response you have is . . . it's not Trump, it's the Russians who started it. What a dunce you are. Again, in a few months or perhaps years you will look back on your sycophantic idiocy and ask how you could have bought it. I got one for you, if anyone approaches with some Rolexes and you buy them for $50 off the streets, tell the cop who caught you that you were approached. You just obliged. No big deal. DUNCE.

That's one of many elements in the HR1 bill the house passed last week. Tax docs for politicians, trying to get dark money out of campaign donations, a national voting day to get better voter turnout and other elements. All good stuff that we need to get it closer to an actual democracy.

Where is your critical thinking? Ten investigations found nothing. Gowdy admitted that as hard as he tried he couldn't find anything on Clinton that sticks. Your critical thinking is tied to pizzagate scandals and other reports that have been debunked by congressional investigations led by your own party. They found no cover up. But yet you continue to tell us you're smarter than everyone else and know better than your own leaders. You're the one who determines whether a FISA warrant was illegal, not the courts, because you're a critical thinker. Get over yourself.

For whatever it's worth, and I know you don't care, that post was responding to a claim that Gowdy actually "found the truth" and concluded that Clinton was culpable. When it is pointed out that Gowdy actually did find the truth and the truth exonerated Clinton, you chime in with critical thinking comments.

This is why what's going on in this country is so scary. The facts are staring your right in the face. After 10 separate investigations and 6 reports by republican committees, the Trumpsters still don't believe what it's own party determined repeatedly. Imagine how these zombies will react to the incriminating details that will be exposed in the Mueller report. We will be told to do some more critical thinking to disbelief what has been found. Like in the repeated congressional reports that this joker now says don't say what Gowdy admitted they do - no culpability for Trump of Obama.

            Wake up!!

Collusion isn't a crime in legal statutes. Conspiracy is. Whether or not there's enough for charges against Trump himself is still TBD. All the other investigations will no doubt show his dirty finances, abuse of power, continued legal trouble for Don Jr and Jared. Mueller's report will not be the final chapter; at best it's 1/3rd of the way through the Tela Novela

Cons refuse to admit that a large contributor to the tragedy at Benghazi was years of the GOP held Congress cutting security funding at US embassies. Trump has not up'd it either.

Come on Snowflake. Be specific now. When did Page first engage in meetings with Russia? Well before Trump even announced his candidacy. And I mentioned Flynn. He was doing his job and following one of Trump's campaign messages that the American people voted for. Can you find someone that made contact in the other direction? The critical aspects that you point to (contact with Russia) is not critical at all if Russia is trying to reach out to the Trump campaign.

Put on your critical thinking hat for a moment. Which is worse:
                  1) Paying to get dirt on your opponent from a foreign entity (Russia)?
                  or
                  2) A foreign entity (Russia) trying to reach out to you to share dirt on your opponent?

The OP answered this showing that Page was the one who initiated contacts during his role with the Trump campaign. You're proven wrong. So as all you Trumpkins do, you just divert and move the goal posts. Page initiated contacts with Russia repeatedly and lied to Congress about it. It was in one direction like this:

Trump campaign/Page -------> Russia ------>Denial ------> We don't know him; he's not part of our campaign ----> OMG, the government spied on the Trump campaign for no reason. Blame the "fake dossier."

sending Stevens there during the turmoil on the anniversary of 9-11 with a 2 man security team was the problem
and we created the lybian turmoil

Someone who had little impact on the campaign, was under surveillance and tracked by the FBI well before the campaign, someone who no one, even the most ardent liberals is even talking about anymore and has dropped off the face of the Mueller investigation.
