--Trump's campaign had substantial contacts with Russians during the campaign, even though Trump and everyone else working for him repeatedly lied to the American people about those contact:
**All of the contacts where in one direction, from Russians to the Trump campaign. Name one meaningful contact that was in the other direction? And the lies where after the campaign was essentially over when it was discovered that Russia was trying to influence.
"The dossier contains allegations against several of Trump's campaign officials and associates of having secret contacts with Russians during the campaign. Steele's raw intelligence reports cited unnamed sources alleging these communications were part of a widespread effort to collude on the election and secure the White House for Trump.
**Again, name one secret meeting with Russians that was started by a Trump campaign official that wasn't part Trump's very public message to the American people when he repeatedly said it would be a good thing to get along with Russia? Flynn was doing his job during the transition.
When the memos spilled into public view, Trump and at least five other senior administration officials denied in emphatic and often sweeping terms that anyone involved in the campaign was in contact with Russians. But in the two years since those denials were issued, news reports and court filings revealed that at least 16 Trump associates had contacts with Russians during the campaign or transition.
**Again all in one direction.
Steele's memos lay out specific meetings that haven't been corroborated. But his claim that there was regular contact between Trump's campaign and Russians has held up over time. When he wrote his memos in 2016, hardly any of these contacts were publicly known. They have since been revealed in Mueller's court filings, countless news reports and testimony on Capitol Hill.
**Again all in one direction.
**No need to go further when you cant nail your top assertions.
Actually the collusion word has disappeared - seems to be a dry hole

Regardless of who made the contact, the contact was made and Trump lied about it repeatedly before the election. You have no response to that.
You also have no response to the fact that the dossier was correct about these contacts with Russia. The repeated ones that Trump lied to the American people about. And also that you have to admit that the Dossier was absolutely correct that there were negotiations regarding a project in Moscow that Trump was trying to finalize.
Having admitted these facts that are not subject to debate, you nevertheless will repeat that the dossier was fake. That was the point of the post. The challenge was to show that it wasn't fake. Though some things haven't been proven yet, critical aspects of it have been proven.
You brushing it aside as if you're smarter than everyone else only placates you but doesn't address the issue. You are pretty dense if you keep eating the garbage your dear leader keeps feeding about the "fake" dossier and the only response you have is . . . it's not Trump, it's the Russians who started it. What a dunce you are. Again, in a few months or perhaps years you will look back on your sycophantic idiocy and ask how you could have bought it. I got one for you, if anyone approaches with some Rolexes and you buy them for $50 off the streets, tell the cop who caught you that you were approached. You just obliged. No big deal. DUNCE.

Not sure why they don’t do a simple tax search on all federal and state elected officials to see if they have anything due before swearing them in. Very simple

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostCome on Snowflake. Where is the critical thinking? In one case you have Obama telling the American people, a clear campaign message, that he got Bin Laden, Al Qaeda is on the run and he has it under control but then on September 11th, Benghazi happens, and they cover up and spin a false narrative over four dead Americans. Your equating that with Trump doing his job making international deals even though this deal in Russia didn't get off the ground because no one could claim the rights to the land in question.
For whatever it's worth, and I know you don't care, that post was responding to a claim that Gowdy actually "found the truth" and concluded that Clinton was culpable. When it is pointed out that Gowdy actually did find the truth and the truth exonerated Clinton, you chime in with critical thinking comments.
This is why what's going on in this country is so scary. The facts are staring your right in the face. After 10 separate investigations and 6 reports by republican committees, the Trumpsters still don't believe what it's own party determined repeatedly. Imagine how these zombies will react to the incriminating details that will be exposed in the Mueller report. We will be told to do some more critical thinking to disbelief what has been found. Like in the repeated congressional reports that this joker now says don't say what Gowdy admitted they do - no culpability for Trump of Obama.
Wake up!!

But yet you continue to tell us you're smarter than everyone else and know better than your own leaders. You're the one who determines whether a FISA warrant was illegal, not the courts, because you're a critical thinker. Get over yourself.

Put on your critical thinking hat for a moment. Which is worse:
1) Paying to get dirt on your opponent from a foreign entity (Russia)?
or
2) A foreign entity (Russia) trying to reach out to you to share dirt on your opponent?

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostCome on Snowflake. Be specific now. When did Page first engage in meetings with Russia? Well before Trump even announced his candidacy. And I mentioned Flynn. He was doing his job and following one of Trump's campaign messages that the American people voted for. Can you find someone that made contact in the other direction? The critical aspects that you point to (contact with Russia) is not critical at all if Russia is trying to reach out to the Trump campaign.

Is the dossier fake? If so, why do you keep saying it in light of all of the accurate information that it disclosed?

The OP answered this showing that Page was the one who initiated contacts during his role with the Trump campaign. You're proven wrong. So as all you Trumpkins do, you just divert and move the goal posts. Page initiated contacts with Russia repeatedly and lied to Congress about it. It was in one direction like this:
Trump campaign/Page -------> Russia ------>Denial ------> We don't know him; he's not part of our campaign ----> OMG, the government spied on the Trump campaign for no reason. Blame the "fake dossier."
The dude pleaded the Fifth about his contact with Russia while a member of the Trump campaign and thereafter.

So no, the contacts were not in one direction. They were in both directions and reciprocated. Not only that, but the entire campaign lied about all of them.
