They had a chance to fix this and help the lower middle class.

Or have a 23 year old in grad school who needs insurance.
Either way, the solution is not to have someone else subsidize the expensive insurance for the person with the pre existing condition. It is to work on lowering the cost of healthcare. Making in cheaper for all.

Would you rather he spend his money on healthcare in poor countries or tax him more and give it to congress to spend. You think congress can fix anything. The whole lot of them couldn’t change a spare tire let alone solve a complex social issue.

It’s Estimated that by 2025 - 65 Million Americans will be enrolled in the ACA ( Obamacare)
It’s killing Republicans to know those numbers keep creeping up and very fast that 65 million may come a lot sooner.

We should also give guns to those with pre-existing conditions, so they can fend for themselves.

The fact that the wealthiest nation in the world lets people go bankrupt, even die, because they have the misfortune to get sick and can't afford treatment is unconscionable.
