Yes his base will forever remain loyal, but his victory margin was micro-thin and all it takes is losing a few independents. People are also fed up with the GOP congress even among GOP voters. American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp says Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats has only himself to blame for getting caught off guard by President Trump‘s White House invitation to Vladimir Putin.

When the America’s intel honcho gave an interview yesterday to Andrea Mitchell, he seemed amazingly surprised to hear that Trump offered to host his Russian counterpart later this year. This happened as Trump continues to face a political firestorm for accepting Putin’s denial of the idea that Russia interfered with the 2016 election.

You might recall, Coats released a statement after Trump’s press conference, rebuking the president and saying the American intelligence community stands by their assessment despite what Putin says.

As Schlapp defended Trump’s diplomatic conduct in a spirited Friday interview with NBC’s Peter Alexander, he said its all on Coats if the DNI chief was out of the loop regarding Trump’s invite to Putin.

“If you’re going to give a speech at Aspen, maybe you ought to call the national security adviser, check in with the White House,” said Schlapp. “He wasn’t prepped for the interview. That’s his own fault…The Cabinet has an obligation to stay hooked up with the President.”

He used to brag that he recorded all his conversations with Trump. There's much more material and the FBI has over 2M pieces of evidence in their hands. In addition to your list, Trump will also care because it makes him look bad. His ego is so fragile. And every time this stuff comes up I'm sure Melania makes his life hell.

Really, none of this matters. If a tape with Trump saying "I like to grab them by the puzzy" a month before the election didn't budge the electorate you think paying off a porn star (who just got arrested) is going to shake things up. Trump could pardon Cohen. That requires Cohen be found or plead guilty, and then the sentence is vacated. But, since Cohen is not threatened with sanction, he can't plead the 5th and will have to honestly answer all related questions in court, which wouldn't help the Grabber-in-Chief one bit.

Dude, you don't know what you're talking about. First, southern Florida, particularly Miami, is mostly Cuban. Cuban's are primarily republican for many reasons unrelated to immigration. Cuban's have historically been granted automatic asylum by the US government until the Obama years. Historically, those that tried escaping came in legally either via legitimate asylum status or through an arduous immigration process from both sides. If you ask, most Cubans would agree they should deport those crossing the Mexican boarder illegally because they had to go through hell to do the right way. Yes there were a couple cases, the Mariel Boat lift being one, where many attempted to come in illegally, although that was Castro for the most part screwing the US government and opening up his prisons.

Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle is planning to leave the network to campaign for the 2018 midterm elections with her reported boyfriend Donald Trump Jr., CNN reported Friday.

Guilfoyle will likely join America First Politics, a pro-Trump nonprofit, according to the network. It's not known when she's planning on leaving Fox News.

A spokesman for Trump Jr. tweeted Friday that Guilfoyle joining Trump Jr. on the campaign trail "is a win for the entire GOP."

"Kim is one of the most influential voices in the #MAGA movement and knows how to light up a crowd," the spokesman, Andrew Surabian, tweeted.
