I never claimed there was only one way to see "Presidential". You said it.

You can have whatever criteria you choose to define what you believe is Presidential behavior. If you want a President that acts like he lives in the "hood", whatever that means, then support a candidate that does that. All that matters is if it is acceptable to you or not. Your right as an American is to put whatever performance standard you choose to put in place when making your vote.

But hey, guess what, that's my right too. And yes, I do base a lot of what it means to be Presidential on the behavior of the 44 people who have served in this role prior to Trump. Only a fool disregards history when considering the future. I see no problem holding the current office holder to the standards set by men like Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Jackson, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Carter, Bushes, Clinton, Obama and so on.

Unfortunately, for him, as far as my support is concerned, Trump fails miserably against the standards set by most of these that came before him. He diminishes our stature as a nation and is a divisive force within the fabric of America. He has insecurities that make him dangerous to the ongoing health of our nation and our people. That's my view at this time and he is going to have to do plenty of work to change it.

It has been determined he is not acting presidential. We don't know what it is, but we are supposed to agree. Well, I feel the previous administration did not act presidential. I determine that based on previous administrations and how they acted.

So, again, vote as you wish and use criteria as you wish. But, don't go preaching to us he's not "acting presidential", because nobody can define what that is.

Lots of people like that he'll act and talk like they do. Just like the previous administration.

Debatable on who he is acting for. But either way, that's a gray area at the minimum...and a slippery slope at worst. Certainly, the previous administration didn't act in the best interest of ALL it's citizens. None would be able to accomplish that



How do you grade someone on "seriously" and "tirelessly"? Is there goofing off, making prank phone calls in meetings? Nodding off?



Subjective. Who determines who the "best" candidates and on what criteria? Disdain for the organization...or a willingness to look at them with fresh ideas?

Seems like South Korea is pretty happy right now. But, if we have a media posting, by far, the most negative stories about someone than any other administration (as has been proven), wouldn't the rest of the world have a negative view? Why should we care? He is the President of the United States of AMERICA, not emperor of the world. He is doing exactly what he said he would do: Put America first. So, of course the rest of the world would be upset by losing their crutch. When they want something, they'll come to us. Always have, always will. He knows it. He knows he's negotiating from a position of power.



Is that a requirement? Should he count to 5 before responding? 10? 100? How do you define impulse? Were previous administrations impulsive before? Think other presidents have said things they later regretted? Are they all eliminated from "acting presidential" due to this?

Last night they show a 30sec clip (out of 55minutes) of Trump answering yes to clean DACA bill followed by pundits laughing at his "stupidity".

I found that interesting so I had to dig to see if it was true.

If you watch the whole meeting its clearly not even close to what the headline of the meeting should have been. I don't care what side you're on. It was dishonest.

Kim Jong much smarter than Trump. Trump thinks his Twitter threats got NK to the table after 2 years but the fact is they left the table for 2 years because of Trump.

Today I heard him take credit for the African American low unemployment rate ,it was 10.6% when Obama took office and dropped to 4.9% when he was leaving office, now it’s 4.6% and he’s selling that to the American people as if he dropped a major figure in just one year.

And again Today I heard he’s not gonna change the Iran deal that Obama made. This was supposedly so bad of a deal that every Republican was gonna scrap it once Trump took the helm but so far in the year he , the senate and house has renewed it once and quietly this looks like he’s continuing everything Obama put in place. In fact there’s discussion it’ll become permanent law “ yup the deal Obama made will be permanent and signed by Trump” but it’s sooo bad he’s gonna sign it anyway. Probably he’ll sign it with Love the same day he does DACA.

What else did he do today ?? Ah yes he bashed Feinstein for releasing the Dossier closed door hearing transcripts — yup the ones the Republicans ( graham and Grassley) were covering up for us not to know. All that garbage the Republicans have been spreading to the American people about the dossier is NOT true and maybe just maybe that’s why they didn’t want this stuff released.

What will Tomorrow bring? Who knows but Trump is getting cornered and desperate.
